Family disputes in Tamilnadu’s DMK party. Because of this Karunanidhi’s elder son Alagiri has been suspended from the party and all the positions he is holding in the party from today. Alagiri has been acting against the party for some time now.

Alagiri was against the merger of DMK and DMDK party headed by Vijay Kanth. And another reason being both sons of Karunanidhi Alagiri and Stalin were contesting against each other to handle the important position in the party.

Karunanidhi has warned in the past that whoever tries to act against the party will be suspended from the party. Alagiri did not heed to the warnings and was thus suspended from the party.
