South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that it would run six special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada and two fast super special trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam CA. These special trains to clear extra-fever introduced passengers during the Christmas season.

Among Secunderabad- Machilipatnam-Secunderabad, the SCR would bear the following services:

Train No. 07050 Secunderabad-special train will depart Secunderabad Machilipatnam at 10:30 hours on 14, 21 and 28 December 2014 (Sunday) and get Machilipatnam at 07:45 pm the same day.

In the return direction, Train Special Train No. 07049 Secunderabad-Machilipatnam Machilipatnam depart at 09:30 pm on 14, 21 and 28 December 2014 (Sunday) and arrive at Secunderabad at 05:55 am the next day.

Along the way, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Gudlavalleru and pedana stations in both directions. These special trains will have 18 coaches namely an AC II Tier, AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two luggage cum brake van coaches.

Similarly, between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad two superfast special train will run AC. Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC super special train will depart Secunderabad at 22:10 on December 26, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:35 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02727 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 07:05 pm on December 27, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive at Secunderabad at 07:50 am the following day.

Along the way, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli stations and Duvvada in both directions. These special trains will have 17 coaches namely, one Ist AC, AC II tier three, eleven AC III Tier-two Pause Van cum coaches Car Power.
