Post 1-Nenokkadine, Sukumar had a project tentatively lined up with NTR Jr. But uncertainty now hangs over the fate of the project thanks to the mixed reviews of 1-Nenokkadine. Should the project fail to materialize, it would be the second instance in recent times when a big hero has backed out of a project after a director has delivered a flop. Allu Arjun shelved his project with Harish Shankar after the latter’s film Ramayya Vasthavayya bombed at the box office.

But in all fairness to NTR Jr, he has never in the past reneged on a commitment to a director. By keeping his promise Tarak has asked director Sukumar to complete the script work to go ahead with the project. Prasad is going to produce the movie for Tarak this time, and they are planning go for shooting from this May.
