Noted actor 'Kadhal' Dhandapani died today morning due to cardiac arrest. He is 71 and acted about 160 films in all south languages. His body is currently at Vijaya Hospital in Chennai and Kollywood representatives are expected to pay tribute to him before his cremation in his hometown Dindigul. 

He was known for his intense portrayal in many films and also showed his talent for comedy in several films. His voice was particularly evident, and he would certainly be missed. Sarath Kumar Sandamarudham was the last film in which Dhandapandi attended before his unfortunate end this morning.
