State Election Commissionaire Ramakanth Reddy announced the schedule for the state municipal elections. The elections will take place on the 30^th of March throughout the state for 146 Municipal seats and 10 Corporations. The elections will resume at 7 Am and will finish by 5 Pm in the evening.

The nominations will be accepted from 10^th march and the last date is 14^th March. The nominations will be checked on 15^th and 18^th is the last date for the withdrawal of the nominations. The elections will be held on 30^th March and the votes will be counted on 2^nd of April. High Court ordered that the municipal elections should be conducted immediately because of this the schedule for the elections were released. From today onwards the election code will run in the state.
