Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is all set to resign to keep up his word that he would not like to oversee the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh under his regime. According to highly placed sources, Kiran might put in his papers on Wednesday morning before Andhrapradesh last governor. He might address a press conference before proceeding to Raj Bhavan to put in his papers with Governor E S L Narasimhan.
That Kiran has made up his mind to quit his post was evident from the way he transferred two of his trusted IAS officers in the Chief Minister’s Office – KS Jawahar Reddy and N Sridhar, apart from effecting transfers of four other senior IAS officers late in the evening.
