CM Kiran Kumar Reddy would narrow down his choice for the new party between Jai Samaikyandhra Party or Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Samithi. Highly-placed sources said the Chief Minister, after putting in his papers, is likely to hold another round of consultations with his close aides before formally announcing the new party.

“We have zeroed in on Jai Samaikyandhra Party and Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Samithi, which reflects the aim of the Chief Minister’s fight for united AP,” a top Congress leader, who has been closely working towards the formation of the party.
