CM Kiran Kumar Reddy who is totally against the bifurcation of the state is ready to use his last weapon.

He is considering of using the Article “131” of the constitution and takes the matter to the Supreme Court to stop the division of state. He is consulting lawyers regarding this matter. This Article is used when there are disputes between the center and the states or between two states, according to this article the states can file an original suit in the Supreme Court.

This is different from the other cases. In the normal cases when a suit is filed the court takes a look at the cause of action and then decides whether the matter should be taken to trial in the court.

If the matter is accepted then the opposite party will immediately get a notice and also the stay order is issued immediately. That is why CM is trying to use this article as his last weapon on the Central government to stop the division of the state.

But the Supreme Court already ordered that the leaders should not approach them before the division of the state is done.
