Central minister Sarve Sthyanarayana contested from Malkajgiri constituency for the Lok sabha and was elected in the last elections, he announced that he will contest from the same constituency in th next elections also. But MLA Shanker Rao and Raji Reddy wrote a letter to the Congress high command saying Sarvey should not be given ticket to the Malkajgiri constituency.

They blamed Sarvey for group politics and for promoting corruption. Not only that, 5 other MLA’s from Malkajgiri constituency also wrote a letter to the high command asking them not to give him a seat.
