YSRCP head Jagan has said no to send his leaders to contest for the Rajya Sabha elections. There are a total of 6 Rajya Sabha seats from Andhra Pradesh, in this congress is sure of winning 3 and TDP 2.

Everyone is waiting to see who will win the last seat. In Rajya Sabha elections there will be a chance of winning the seat only if they have the backing of atleast 40 MLA’s .

Jagan has the backing of 18 MLA’s. He thought that he would not win even if he contests and also it would raise new problems, so he has has decided not to participate in the Rajya Sabha elections.
