There is news that Congress high command offered KCR the Chief Minister ship if he chooses to merge TRS with the Congress party. It is heard that KCR is taking a look at the offer and after making a decision will go to Delhi and meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi regarding the matter. If TRS will merge with congress then KCR will be declared the Chief Minister Candidate and move forward to the 2014 elections.

There are discussions between the leaders of the two parties about the merger. The government is thinking of introducing the Telangana bill in the parliament sessions that will take place in February and declare the state by the end of February. Hence they sent messages to get ready for the merger by the end of February.
