A case was registered on Jayalalitha for possessing ornaments which valued more than her income. The case is being prosecuted in Bangalore. DMK party had filed a petition that Jayalalitha’s Jewelry, ornaments and other properties should be evaluated. The petition has been accepted by Judge John Michael and he has issued orders for the gold jewelry, diamonds, silver, properties to be submitted in the court.
But the Tamil Nadu court has asked for some time to transport the valuable ornaments from Chennai to Bangalore with tight security. The court has given them time till the 20th of January. Banglore court judge Diguna, administrator Pacchamuthu, Banglore RBI branches officer and a group of another 8 people have reached Chennai.
The team has recorded all the ornaments which are in possession of the RBI, in a document for about three hours. The process of handing over Jayalalitha’s ornaments to the Bangalore court has started on Monday. Three vans full of Jayalalitha’s ornaments have been transported from Chennai RBI to Bangalore.
