PCC chief BotsaSatyanarayana said he had written a letter to the high command asking them to sack former minister and senior legislator J.C Diwakar Reddy for his bad remarks about AICC president Sonia Gandhi. He said the rebellious Congress leaders were free to leave the party. Regarding his comments on Gandhi, he said, “I did not speak anything wrong against Sonia Gandhi or belittle her. I have suggested she should give her post to others since she is not keeping good health.

J.C Diwakar Reddy went on to make a statement saying the Congress is dead not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in the whole country and that a leader like the AAP’sArvindKejriwal who swept the Congress out of Delhi in the Assembly polls, will do the same for Congress in the state.
