Farmers in the village Katrinapadu low Musunur mandal squatting on road Gopavaram-Mirzapuram to express their protest against the erratic power supply to their fields. Farmers brought their oxcarts too to block traffic on the road.

The ryot claimed that the Assistant Engineer in electrical substation under the pretext of defective transformer had been denying the power supply to them.

As a result of crops in mountain areas wither. Instead of getting the repair work performed by contractors, officials were demanding that farmers should help in making the repairs of transformers and other equipment.
