Superstar Rajnikanth has put its simplicity at its best today, in the curtain-raising event for "Lingaa" at a five star hotel in Hyderabad today. As usual Rajni stayed calm and played better, but the big surprise came in the form of announcing their support for victims Hudhud.

"I am expressing my deepest condolences to the victims and Hudhud express my deep regret at not being able to attend the event fundraising Memu Saitham" Rajni said, showing his human side. "After going to Madras, he will donate a certain amount in the background, looking at how much I could donate" he added.
