Srikakulam: Two construction workers were killed in the village of Benthipeta in Laveru mandal of Srikakulam district on Friday morning when the slab of a house one Bontha Jagannayakulu under repairs, crashed. The mishap occurred when repair work is carried out at the top of the house.

Batta Adinarayana and Ilakala Rambabu servere wounded in the incident. While Adinarayana succumbed to injuries at the scene, Rambabu died while being taken by ambulance to the hospital here.

He was pronounced dead by doctors brought as TIRES. Residents of the village were shaken by the two tragic deaths. Relatives of the victims wept uncontrollably.
