YSRCP Chief Jagan today organized a Mahadharna in front of the Collectorate Vizag office to protest the loan waiver policy announced by the AP government.
Speaking on this occasion, Jagan said that until today about 86 farmers committed suicide in the state due to debts.
"I would visit families to comfort after sankranthi season," Jagan said.
Everyone in the state is aware that the total appropriations of State Farm is around Rs. 87,000 crore. Chandrababu has promised early farmers agricultural loans will be waived after becoming the CM of the state. But now he is changing his words and claiming he had promised before the crop loan waiver, Jagan said.
Chandrababu hastily announced a statement on the resignation of crop loan in December 4, after the YSRCP annunced on dharnas. Only 22 lakh farmers are included in the list of beneficiaries, when more than 1 million farmers rupees in standby for the waiver of the loan, Jagan said.
Chandrababu also made a promise to the touth unemployed during elections. The TDP chief promised that the work would be provided by family and and a subsidy of Rs. 1000 unemployed youth will be provided. But until today, the promises are not fulfilled mode by the Government, Jagan said.
Pensioners (pensions) in the state also face problems such as pension amount is cut. Committees appointed by the government include only TDP activists, add Jagan.
Jagan spoke about the cyclone relief Hudhud too. The food and milk packets are thrown into the cyclone victims Hudhud by similar officials to throw food to dogs, Jagan said.
