Hyderabad: Senior Congress MLAs and former ministers T. Jeevan Reddy Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and Wednesday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao immediately take steps to open the complete Nims Hospital Bibinagar above specialties, 40 miles the state's capital city.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, claimed that the government was hesitating to inaugurate the new hospital built and already completed due to pressure from corporate hospitals in the city.

They said if Bibinagar Nims comes into operation, several patients of northern Telangana districts would get significant relief as Osmania, Gandhi and Nims present hospitals in the capital city are not able to meet the great race of patients.

Although the Prime Minister had promised to open the hospital and begin operations in Bibinagar Nims, it seems that is being pressured by corporate hospital lobby who fear losing their business, they said.
