The South Central Railway has launched a new application on Tuesday - Train Arrival Departure and facilities at Stations (TADAAST) for smartphones based on Android to provide real-time information on train services.
"The application is aimed at disseminating information on the current state of the arrivals and departures of trains on a live basis, and also details of various passenger facilities provided to the top 25 stations identified SCR" said PK Srivastava, SCR general manager, after launching the application.
TADAAST is an application, adapted primarily to care for the needs of public research related to the formation of services and amenities. It develops in a personalized way to the top 25 stations in the SCR. Include Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Kacheguda, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Guntur, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Ongole, Anakapalli, Bhongir, Bhimavaram Town, Guntakal, Chittapur, Kadapa, Khammam Town, Mancheriyal, Nanded, Ramagundam, Tenali, Tadepalligudem, Vikarabad, Tandur, Sirpur Kagaznagar and Sedam.
This application is designed with an attractive design in an easy to navigate and easy to use. The user can configure the stations used frequently as favorites for quick access. The data in this application can be seen in any of the three languages, English, Hindi and Telugu. Users can express their views and any suggestions for improvement through feedback option available in this application.
Other useful features such as schedule and location of the station with the route via Google maps are also incorporated exclusively for each of the 25 stations in this application. In addition, detailed designs stations with icons showing the specific location of passenger comfort in this application stations Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Kacheguda are also included. TADAAST application can be downloaded and installed for free from Google Play Store (on smartphones based on Android) or Apple App Store (on smartphones based on iOS).
HYLITES: Srivastava also launched the Hyderabad-based iOS train LIve Consultation System (HYLITES) app for the benefit of users of iPhone and iPad version. The Android version of this app was launched in February. HYLITES provides real-time information on the movement of trains over 26 MMTS MMTS stations in the Twin Cities. It also has HYLITES useful, such as calendar MMTS, MMTS route map, closest MMTS stations and fees modules etc.
