A core team will visit the cyclone-affected districts of Andhra Pradesh 24 to 25 November to collect data and evaluate based enumeration by the state government harm.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Saturday urged officials to be ready with the reports to be submitted to the central computer. This, he said, would allow the state government to seek a better aid package.

In a review meeting with officials from the departments of energy, agriculture, irrigation, municipal administration and Panchayati Raj, Naidu asked officials to ready reports of damage to crops, properties, poultry the marine industry and other infrastructure, as well as the amount spent on relief and restoration work.

He also directed officials to prepare a report on the amount paid by the insurance of crops, improved relief provided to victims of the cyclone and other budget used for restoration work.

The prime minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the region affected by the cyclone October 14 announced an interim financial assistance Rs 1,000 crore to the state. He also promised more help after a detailed study of losses.
