Bharti Airtel, the largest telecom operator in the country, on Thursday launched the WAP "One Touch Internet 'portal prepaid customers who are users of Internet services for the first time.
The company believes that the "One Touch Internet is the first of its initiative to simplify Internet services for millions of users first class in India."
Airtel expects the WAP portal (Wireless Application Protocol) offer prepaid customers across the country a 'simple, safe and intuitive interface "to discover Internet services, and overcome inhibitions about using mobile data.
The firm says the One Touch Internet portal WAP acts as a unique destination for users to "see-try-buy" popular Internet services, including social networking, videos, booking and travel purchases online, with videos free trial Packs and tutorials to guide you through the process.
