Chennai: Earlier record was 24 hours, but now responsible for a horror film have claimed to have completed the shooting of the film in 12 hours. Director of the film stated that it was a first of its kind initiative in sixty years of Tamil cinema. The script of terror, with the participation of the adventures of the three couples staying a haunted bungalow way to a wedding is titled 'Iravu Nadu' (Midnight).

"It was hard to complete the filming starting at 6 pm and ending at 6 am the next day," the director of the film, Puthugai Marisa, was quoted as saying in a statement.

Earlier, a multi starcast Tamil film titled 'Suyamvaram', was shot 24 times by different technical teams in 1999.
