Indore: With a 40-year-old testing positive for swine flu, the number of people infected with the H1N1 virus in the district has risen to 10, a health official said.
The woman, a resident of Ramkrishna Bagh colony, was admitted to a private hospital in Indore October 27.
Later, his swab samples were sent for laboratory test in which he tested positive for swine flu, said Dr. GL Sodhi, district unit in charge of the Integrated Disease Surveillance Project. She is in a serious condition, he said.
This year, ten people in Indore so far have tested positive for swine flu, six of which succumbed to infection, Sodhi added.
