Karimnagar: Finance and civil supplies minister Etela Rajender said the chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana minister was fighting hard to gain international recognition of Singareni collieries Company Limited (SCCL). He laid the foundation stone for the construction of a bridge overpass at Ramagundam in Karimngar Monday.
Interacting with the media, said that the Seemandhra rulers of Andhra Pradesh State Government neglect the development of the 125 years of the company. Mr Rajender said that the prime minister was preparing proposals to achieve global recognition to SCCL.
"Size of the SCCL employees decreased from 1.20 lakh to 62,000 due to the discrimination of Seemandhra rulers. But Mr. Rao is committed to develop the company at par with international standards by improving their performance" he said.
The government would buy shares Telangana Union government in SCCL, if necessary, and develop it as never before asserted.
Similarly, proposals are being prepared for the establishment of an industrial corridor Goleti in Adilabad to Khammam district Manuguru lines Manchester United States of America.
TS Genco power plant in Ramagundam be extended in order to overcome the power shortage in the state.
A power plant of 4,000 MW was commissioned by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in Ramagundam. Telangana State would be able to generate 10,000 MW of power to the new power plants over the next three years.
