HYDERABAD: District Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena announced on Friday that the process of applying for Food Security cards (FSC) in the district begin on October 13 The new cards replace the white ration booklets for families in poverty (BPL), while pink ration cards would cease to be eligible FSC then disbursed.
"We expect about eight lakh applicants, including existing cardholders to request the FSC. Application can be made at the fair price shops," he said. There are 850 fair price shops in the district of Hyderabad, where applicants must provide the name, address and Aadhaar data.
Mr. Meena said the details would be sufficient for your application, and applicants must submit the supporting documents only when field staff of the Agency and Civil Supplies Department come to their directions for research. "Only if a person is eligible for investigation and verification, the FS card is issued," he said, adding that the registration process, which begins on October 13 would continue until October 20 The research process would be taken after 20 October after which the distribution of the card can take 45 days, the Collector said.
