HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana went to New Delhi on Thursday night to take various issues related to the state with the Centre and also meet the Chief Justice of India. 

Sources said that the prime minister will address the issue of creating a separate high court for Telangana with Minister of Union law Ravi Shankar Prasad and meet Chief Justice of India Justice HL Dattu. Sources said the prime minister would make clear that both the superior courts of AP and Telangana can operate from the same premises, even after the branch until the AP high court moves to the new capital. 

KCR also meet with the Minister of Energy Union Peeyush Goyal seeking the support of the Centre in the allocation of additional power to the state. Is likely to draw on the energy situation in Telangana and the efforts made by the State to overcome the problem. During his visit, the prime minister will also ask Finance Minister of the Union Arun Jaitley, who recently underwent surgery.
