Hyderabad: Day can not be far from the devotees of Lord Venkateswara to climb the hill shrine of Tirumala Tirupati by monorail. The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (Tuda) has submitted a feasibility report for a Rs.9000 crore railway project 27 kilometers along the walk route ghat be covered in 25-30 minutes. Monorail drastically minimize accidents on the ghat road, "TUDA. 

The report was prepared by a private consulting firm Urban Mass Transport Company (UMTC) and the cost of preparing it was funded by the Centre and Tuda. The monorail can carry about 300 passengers at a time. And it is part of the Master Plan Tirupati hit with smart city initiative NDA Govt. 

Around 60,000 devotees visit Tirumala every day for darshan with the trekking route to take about 5 hours for the devotee to reach your destination. Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, who hails from Andhra Pradesh tops the Union Ministry of Urban Development, which is keen for the project.
