Sankranti is a Hindu festival celebrated in almost all parts of India and Nepal in myriad cultural forms. It is a harvest festival not a festival of Andhra. But to the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana, is a festival of Andhra. 

For years, the Telugu people around the world have celebrated this festival traditional way with rangolis in front of their houses and practiced other Hindu recitals .However to KCR Telangana feel that the culture is performed in the united AP and the need to a new lease of life. 

He, instead of thinking more broadly, has begun to think like a narrow minded person targeting the Telugu culture and branding as Sankranthi festival in Andhra. In this sense, it was learned that clarified that the holidays are based on the Telangana festivals, and declare only two holidays to celebrate the festival of Sankranti. 

Thus, KCR could declare as Christmas and Bakrid festivals not Telangana and shortened the holidays for Christmas. I hope you do not take chances like he could lose the support of MIM. 

Meanwhile KCR CM announced 5.992% DA to state government employees on the occasion of Dussehra festival. 71,902 + 5,992 = 77,896%
