Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is highly upset over the road accident incident in Masayipet of Veldhurthi Mandal of Medak District in which 15 school children died and 12 injured. He expressed deep shock over the incident.

The Chief Minister is constantly monitoring personally and reviewing the situation with the Chief Secretary and DGP.

KCR has announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to every family of those who died in the accident.   He also said that the entire Medical expenditure of the injured students will be borne by the Government of telangana.

In a message, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the families of the children who died in the accident.  He ordered for an inquiry into the accident.

The Chief Minister conveyed his displeasure and anger over the incident to the South Central Railway General Manager CK Srivatsava.  The General Manager has assured the CM that gates will be arranged at all level crossings within a week’s time.
