Khammam: Minister of Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao on Friday began a whirlwind tour on a bicycle in several areas of the city Khammam. Nageswara Rao visited Ramalayam quarter-NSP and offered special prayers. Then inspected the temple premises and found no direct way from the ring road to the temple.

The Minister instructed Khammam RDO T Vinay Krishna Reddy and Reddy Khammam Urban tahsildar Venka to acquire the land needed for laying road to the temple of the ring road. "It should take steps to placing the road ahead of Sriramanavami festival", instructed officials.

The Railway Minister also inspected underbridge (RUB) works in Saradhi Nagar. He asked the engineer of the work Janardhan Reddy on the progress of the RUB works and directed to make sure you are prepared for the festival of Ugadi. Later, the office complex Minor Irrigation Department about R & B Guest House, which was built at a cost of 1.7 crore rupees was inaugurated.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister directed officials to release Income government lands from invaders and assign the same for government offices. He instructed the officials concerned to clear the outstanding works in the district as soon as possible.
