CM K. Chandrashekar Rao was sure Hyderabad soon emerge as the "health center" of the country which, with good medical facilities, state of the art hospitals and medical specialists available here.
Speaking after inaugurating the Institute of Neurological and Star Center Joint Replacement Hospital in Banjara this morning Sciences, the chief minister called for doctors and medical professionals work hard in providing necessary health care for people at affordable charges and ensure that Hyderabad would emerge as the "health center" of the country.
Chandrashekar Rao recalled that during his visits to many hospitals in the city that had noticed patients in many parts of the world were being treated here. One reason for this is that the necessary medical facilities are available here, in addition to the city known for its cosmopolitan culture and ethics. As a matter of fact Hyderabad has earned a very good name and 350 years of its cosmopolitan culture and caring society. Nowhere in India one can find lanes Gujarathi, Sindhi Colony, Parsi Gutta etc. except in Hyderabad observed.
The Prime Minister also recalled that the excellent atmosphere due to its geographical location, people and the availability of all loving and kind here has made the city as a welcoming place. As a matter of fact, many IAS and IPS officers, judges of the Supreme Court who had worked here have settled in the city after retirement. He had even earned the name as a good Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR). Thus there is no doubt that Hyderabad would grow and develop as a global city, observed.
Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his happiness that Star Hospital has grown from a 70-bed hospital to a specialized hospital of 350 beds with the addition of the Institute of Neurological Sciences and Joint Replacement Center. With over 70 medical specialists and 50 to join soon, Hospitals expected to emerge as a star shining star in providing necessary health care for people in the city ..
