In another incident, a youth of Manipur was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Malviya Nagar in Delhi on Thursday.
The incident came a day after a man of 33 years old, just been brutally murdered in his home in Kotla Mubarakpur in South Delhi found.
The 23-year-old victim, identified as Joy Suni was pursuing his masters at the University of Delhi.
His body was found in his rented accommodation in the area of Khirki Extension Malviya Nagar in south Delhi, despite not wearing any watermark visible injuries.
"Suni, a student of English MA first year in Sri Aurobindo College lived with his brother and a friend from the past three months. On Wednesday night, had returned home after a party with friends that included a girl" said a police officer.
His friends told police that he had returned late after the game and went to sleep. His roommate found him dead the next morning, which was reported to the police.
A police team rushed to the scene and soon moved the body for autopsy after the crime and forensic teams visited the scene and collected evidence.
"Although the body gave no mark of injury, the exact cause of death has not yet been proven to be evident only after an autopsy. His friends have told us that the liquor consumed late at the party. We are investigating whether drugs also be served or not a drug overdose could be a reason for the death, the official added.
DCP (South District) Prem Nath said Suni's death was mysterious and the real cause behind the death would be known only after the autopsy.
The case is being investigated from all angles and appropriate action would be initiated if it be a case of homicide, said.
The 33-year-old victim, identified as Zingram Kengo, who was found murdered in her home with her throat cut last night, it was Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He had come to Delhi just month ago and was living in Kotla Mubarakpur in rented accommodation.
