North American Telugu Association (NATA) celebrated the success of its mega convention with a lavish “Volunteer Appreciation Dinner” at Atlanta’s famed Taste of India banquet hall. Over the last 2 years, scores of volunteers invested their time and energy to mobilize forces and contributed enormously to the success of one of the biggest conventions in this history of Telugu associations in USA. This evening was the moment for celebrating the results that came out of that sincere work over those long months.
NATA President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy, Convener Bala Indurti, Coordinator Srini Vangimalla, Co-convener Dr. T.Satyanarayana Reddy, core committee members Gautham Goli, Ramesh Chapparala, Vijaya Appareddy, RVP Ravi Kandimalla, Joint Secretary Dr. Sridhar Korsapati, BOD Bharath Madadi, Corporate Grand Sponsor Paramount Software CEO Pramod Sajja, local leaders like Narendar Reddy and many other VIPs were present and guided the proceedings and expressed their sincere gratitude to the 45 convention committees and hundreds of volunteers and vendor partners.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy praised all the volunteers and voiced his thanks for all the team work. Planning and executing an event of this stature and size is no ordinary task and by surpassing the high expectations of all our guests and creating one of the most exciting and fun charged Telugu conventions of all times, the convention committees truly showcased their grit and abundant talent to the whole world. Convener Bala Indurti and emcee Venkat Chennubhotla kept the evening alive with their spontaneous wit and humor and ensured that all volunteers were recognized in the fullest spirit for the value that they contributed.
NATA Advisory Council Dr.Prem Reddy & Dr.Malla Reddy sent messages expressing their gratitude and appreciation for all committees’ volunteers and Atlanta Telugu community for making NATA second convention a huge success. The leaders lauded the valuable contributions of the Chairs, Co-chairs and the members of 45 Convention Committees in making the convention a grand success with record attendance and outstanding array of programs and great food. As the merry crowd of over 400 volunteers and their families sipped in the delight of the evening with a delicious dinner from Taste of India and a friendly supportive team atmosphere, it was as if time stood still as if unwilling to break the charm spread by the magical night. NATA 2014 convention stood out for teamwork, planning, leadership and many other factors. But in retrospect, it will remain as a cherished memory for the millions of magical moments that it produced.
