It is heard that Speaker Naadendla Manohar will be contesting for the parliamentary seat for Congress party from Khamam constituency. Telangana Congress leaders are ready to support him in every way during the elections.
After the diversion of the state the congress party has lost all its credibility in Seemandhra, so the speaker thought it would be a better idea to contest in from Telangana region in the coming elections if he has to win. Not only that but Naadendla Bhaskar Rao his father contested from Khamam earlier and won from the constituency.

It is confirmed that Congress and TRS parties will have tie up after the division of the state, and in this case the telangana leaders have given assurance that they will support him and help him win the elections.
