The name of the actress who is playing the lead role in Ram Gopal Varma 'Sridevi' is Anuskriti. 

Many have speculated that the role of the heroine of the film is a teacher and after announcing the title, some have thought that it is playing an actress. Some have even protested against RGV saying the director shows the relationship between a teacher and a student in an indecent manner. 

But Anuskriti is not playing a teacher and actress. She is playing a housewife middle class in the film.
