Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan Telangana Friday Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and informed him about the situation in the two states.
"Both states are doing very well. The public order has been maintained very well by both states. Both the chief ministers are doing very well. I think the problems do not exist," the governor told reporters after meeting with the Prime Minister in his office in Parliament House.
Asked about the topics discussed at the meeting, said it was a routine meeting.
"It was a routine meeting. Several issues were discussed with the prime minister," he said.
Asked about Telangana and Andhra Pradesh conducting separate intermediate public examinations, Narasimhan said that the interests of children are not affected.
"They are there to conduct tests. The children will not be affected. Interests of children are protected. Nobody is going to suffer because of exams," he said.
