Andhra Pradesh lead the country in the field of software development in the next five years, the Minister of Information Technologies Palle Raghunath Reddy announced in the state assembly on Friday.
Responding to a question during question hour, the minister told members that the government is very committed to the development of the IT sector in the state.
"While software exports software exports it stood at Rs. 65,000 Cr during the days united AP, Andhra Pradesh has achieved so far worth Rs.1700 Cr after the bifurcation" he said.
The minister also revealed that some companies have come forward to invest in the ITIR Project Visakha.
