Hyderabad: The Centre has sanctioned a new zip circle for 29 Telangana State, Minister of Communications and Information Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
The Union Minister urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the Secretariat here this morning and the total support given to the development of the state in relation to their departments. Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao was also present.
Talking to mediapersons later, Ravi Shankar Prasad said seat Central Post Master General (CPMG) has also been created for the post sanctioned circle. Appreciating the TRS government for access to various welfare schemes and development programs, the Union Minister said that extending full support to the State on all fronts. "I will give all necessary assistance to the Government TRS regarding communication and IT departments," said Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Since Hyderabad is a city that thrives on IT and enabled services, which requires further expansion, the Centre is willing to offer cooperation for the development of the new state, he said. The Chief Minister, while delivering a copy of the new industrial policy which is considered as one of the best in the world, said he prepared an easy way for new industries, companies and startups. The new industrial policy will boost the state's economy, as it was dropped as the best single window system with self-certification by those intending string and extended with large investments, KCR said.
The Prime Minister requested additional funds for the ITIR project, which was granted only Rs 165 million rupees and taking a great way to promote your Hardware / ITES and electronics sector. Hyderabad ITIR attract total investment of Rs 2,19,440 crore, including IT / ITES industry Rs 1,18,335 crore and is expected to EHM sector to attract investment of Rs 1,01,085 crore.
The Prime Minister informed the Minister of the Union on ITIR project would come in an area of 202 square kilometers around Hyderabad metropolitan area and attract an investment of Rs 2,19,440 crore over 25 years. While the state government requested financial assistance of Rs 4.863 million rupees Center for the creation of external physical infrastructure for the project, it agreed to extend only Rs 3.275 million rupees, including Rs 165 million rupees for the phase- 1, said the CM.
Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and other officials attended the meeting.
