Bollywood hero Ajay Devgn has been cordoned off for the remake of Blockbuster movie 'Drushyam' under the direction of Joseph Jitu who has directed the original film in Malayalam. Filmmakers initially planned to take Akshay Kumar for the film, but due to the timing problem Ajay Devgn has agreed to do the role in Hindi. The film was originally made in Malayalam was later remade in Telugu with Victory Venkatesh and kannada with Ravi Chandra. Now remade in Tamil with the hero-director-producer Kamal Haasan titled Papanasanam.
