AP Government has used the services of "Metro Man" Sridharan for AP and a plan for the construction of Metro Rail in Vijayawada and Vizag.

Government decided to build two routes one of Siddhartha Engineering College Station Pandit Nehru Bus (Bundar Road) and the train station through Ramavarappadu Eluru Road.

AP Government seeks to extend the two routes. According to the latest sources, AP Government plans to extend Metro Vijayawada to the new capital (Tullur). People get clearer once the master plan is ready by the end of March'15.

Officials have to build a bridge across the river Krishna more if the Metro linked to Tullur. Similarly, the previous plan of 13 kms of underground route will be extended another 7 kms in Eluru road to Gannavaram airport.

AP Government needs more connectivity to the capital region by all means of transport. Metro will be useful as a network of Vijayawada, Mangalagiri, Tenali and new capital. Metro Sridharan give the test signal and the green ground will start in a day or two.
