Bangalore: Friday Police cane-charged AIADMK activists who tried to move towards the special court here which is set to pronounce the verdict in the disproportionate wealth case against Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. 

As AIADMK sympathizers attempted to break the security cordon Hosar Road Junction near the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border, police pushed them back with cane-charge "mild". 

Activists say indicators from Jayalalithaa AIADMK shouted slogans, police said. 

Police have been checking close-registered vehicles in Tamil Nadu in Attibeli checkpoint at the border. 

AIADMK supporters had gathered at the border, but were stopped by police. 

Bus services between Bangalore and Hosur have been suspended for a couple of hours as a precaution.
