You are about to reach the annual target of 33 million tonnes with ease as the pace of growth has continued since, said Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Kumar.
Vijayawada Railway Division has achieved greater load load of 3 million tonnes (Mt) in a month in July and was able to maintain the trend to date in the Q-2 of the current year (2014-15).
You are about to reach the annual target of 33 MT with ease as the pace of growth has continued since then, said Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Kumar.
He told the media persons in Vijayawada on Friday that the goal last year was 30 MT, which was achieved comfortably.
Efforts are being made to maintain the performance of the division in the front loading of goods this year as well, in order to collect more revenues at a time when the cost of operations has increased significantly.
