Hyderabad: Rose lovers in India will have a field day in November. The World Federation of Rose Society held a pink world show in Hyderabad, where representatives from 80 countries will showcase flowers, November 29 to December 2 this year.
In addition to showing a wide variety of roses, the fair will present the latest techniques in raising the nurseries of roses and best practices for rose lovers. Indian Rose Society and Telangana Government would join the regional conference held by the WFRS.
The Hyderabad meeting is a precursor to the World Conference to be held in Lyon in France in May 2015.
K Chandrasekhara Rao Chief Minister reviewed the arrangements for the conference with government officials.
"The Prime Minister has said that the export potential of the roses was overwhelming," said a government statement Thursday.
