The Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bang Bang' which launched last week has fared well at the box office, but business has fallen over the past three days. While the movie, which is a new official version of the Hollywood film Knight and Day, held its lead through the week, we decided to take a look at the box office collections of the film.
In this box office collections report, we compare the first week collections of 'Bang Bang' previous versions of Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and director Siddharth Anand.
'Bang Bang', which includes Rs 135.45 million rupees in its first week, is the highest grossing film of the director Siddharth Anand can never out beat his previous release Anjaana Anjaani that collects Rs 40.29 million rupees.
On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan is second highest of not being able to beat the record set by collecting previous version of the actor Krrish 3 which includes Rs 166.52 million rupees in Week 1.
Box office collections of 'Bang Bang "have declined steadily over the last few days and on day 8 (Thursday) was no different. Collections' bang bang' just fell Rs 7.42 crore Rs 8 23 crore on Wednesday for a grand total of Rs 135.45 million Indian rupees and if the foreign operation is added, they come to Rs 174.27 million rupees.
For Katrina Kaif, who has had a string of recent successes, the film ranks third behind 'Dhoom 3' collects Rs 188.99 million rupees and 'Ek Tha Tiger' made Rs 154.21 million rupees.
