Two days prior to the results of general elections, the results of local body polls were out. The TDP got a resounding victory in municipal and ZPTC-MPTC elections. Most of the mega fans are now very much delighted with that great victory of the TDP. 

It is a known news that Power Star Pawan Kalyan's support to the TDP and the BJP has not gone down well with most of the mega fans. It was due to the intense anti incumbency that led Congress' defeat and made the TDP winning in the local and general polls. "If the local polls were not held before the general polls, everybody would understand that Pawan Kalyan's factor helped the TDP's victory. Obviously, mega fans would have got frustrated if Pawan Kalyan was the reason for TDP's victory.  It's now because of local poll results', it is clearly understood that the TDP could have got the victory even if there was no support from Pawan Kalyan. And that's why we are very much happy with the TDP's victory in local body polls," says a mega fan.
