After reconnaissance chief minister Nalgonda KCR for the establishment of a power plant, district collector T Chiranjeevulu with 20 teams comprising officials of the administration and RDOs, conducted a survey of land in Dharmacharla Mandal. Sources said, KCR has ordered the survey of 7500 acres in villages Damaracharla, Veerlapalem and Dilavarpur to be completed in ten days.
Authorities said the aim of the study is to determine the amount of land available, the invaded land and arable land in the villages. The study will continue until December 30, said. During the survey, some villagers blocked Veeralapalem officials in protest against the establishment of the plant.
