YSR Congress Party Y.S. President Jaganmohan Reddy Telangana government has suggested to consider sharing power to bridge the gap between supply and demand greatly.

Mr. Reddy asked the chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao Telangana minister to consider your suggestion as Telangana could not dislodge the energy acquired Chhattisgarh immediately due to lack of transmission lines dedicated for this purpose.

Explaining his idea at a press conference on Tuesday, the chief said the government YSRCP Telangana could give the energy acquired in Chhattisgarh NTPC by injecting into the national grid and use an equal amount of the station generated 2,600 MW NTPC Ramagundam, where 75 percent goes to the central pool. This could also resolve a dispute over water Srisailam being used for power generation Telangana said.

Telangana could do similar exchange, if you purchased additional power from Chhattisgarh, by exchange with National Grid for the second phase of 1000 MW Simhadri station in the center of the pool accounted for 60 percent, Reddy said.

In the controversy over the use of water Srisailam, President YSRCP late YS Rajasekhara Reddy said he had raised the minimum draw down level (MDDL) in the tank 854 meters in 2004 to correct an error made by the TDP regime in the past to allow water to get several projects Pothireddypadu regulator whose sill level was only 840 feet. Ignoring that fact, then-Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu sets MDDL in 834 meters in 1996.

Admitting that Telangana was facing severe energy crisis, he felt he did not mean that the State was inhumane to the water needs of other drought-prone Rayalaseema region as. The situation would not have occurred if Mr. Naidu showed sincerity and maturity, he said, noting that the PA had raised his voice only after the water level in Srisailam fell 858 meters after power generation by both parties .

In row raging over 'diversion' of funds between AP and TS, Mr. Reddy said the governor must resolve amicably.
