Today, women compete with men in all professions and some are even beating and smarter than them. According to the latest Indian women are marking another victory over their male counterparts. 

This time it came out winners to become the second in the world in smoking. In a surprising trend, female smokers increased dramatically and is 12.1 million, which is higher than any country except the United States. 

In 2012, the women's smoking was merely 3.2%, which was unchanged from 1980. However, increased while male smokers decreased from 33.8% to 23%. These results were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in the study titled "Cigarette smoking prevalence and consumption in 187 countries, 1980-2012",
