Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu Monday said that Vizag will develop in a dynamic city in the days to come.
In a press conference at the Secretariat here after his return from the city devastated by Cyclone Vizag, said the business community has come forward to help the victims. The government is going to some areas to them for adoption and development, said. In two or three days staples at low cost, are communicated to all people in Vizag, Naidu said. Naidu said the government released Rs 5,000 cr Farmer Empowerment Center to provide assistance to farmers in the state. It was decided to build new colonies in Vizag in coordination with industry, he said.
Naidu also said to be restored to normal with the help of people who show their solidarity with the officials and government. He said seven lakh hectares of crops and 41,000 houses were damaged by the cyclone. The three districts affected by the cyclone horror are coming slowly from the bad situation, he said. The CM said the government will keep its promise to loan waiver crops and DWCRA loans.
