Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the 2014-15 budget presented by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday would put the country's economy back on track.
Speaking to media persons here, Chandrababu Naidu said that the financial damage caused by the state because of bifurcations has been widely explained in the budget speech. He asked the Centre to compensate for the deficit, which aroused due to the division of the state. He claimed that irregularities and corruption, compounded bifurcation deteriorating financial situation of Andhra Pradesh, which would otherwise be a revenue surplus state.
Naidu that will try to bring back the country's economy on the road to recovery in the next two months.
